August Random

I cant be happier than this, im excited about going home to see my family and friends, wedding and the trip. Couple more days, 2 days left at work then im done. i got my "tax return" back which helps alot with this wedding n trip. I dont really do much since i came back from indo a month ago, all i did so far was work, work and assessment. cant do much in this cold weather. Im not that excited to drive around as i used to be.

Sydney is such a beautiful city, im just happy to see beautiful sunset on the beach every morning. the sounds of the ocean, the fresh and cold air. Manly wakes up pretty early. if you go to the beach around 6am you could see many people walk their dogs, jogging, biking, surfing, yoga on the beach, etc etc.. pretty beachy northern beaches life. Manly ferry runs every half and hour to the city and forth. Beautiful people rush to their work nice suit black long winter boots looking cool! so stylish. indeed Sydney is really such a stylish city.. if you r out of style you r out of line. i saw petty ladies struggled walking on her high heels boots in the city...

Im going to pick up my Chinese Visa tomorrow, seems like my dream to see the great wall and forbidden city are almost come true. im just excited to think about it. i have booked half of the trip's tickets. i will probably have 10 different flights... the longest will be 8 hours to KL from Sydney.. off and on the plane baby!! yes travel day is always suck!! not to mention about the transit, delay, etc etc..

My 2012 trip
this is just a random thoughts. last time when i went home... i was excited but kinda feeling out of blue.. things that used to be excited isnt that excited anymore...food that used to be delicious and my favorite isnt that great anymore.. i guess i have seen and tried alot that makes me realize there are so many options in this world. there are so many things that i want to see and try that i havent... like some says "better regret things you haven't tried that things u have tried

Drinking Bintang Beer instead of Guinness when you r in bali for instance...
And friends... used to be a number one list but not anymore, not as much as family, yes family is a matter. and at the end of the day everyone sticks with their own family. i guess they then realize how important family are. i used to call my mom once a month or every two months but now.. i almost call her every week. who's else can you talk to and who always there for you if its not your family when everyone else are busy with their own agenda of life.

my very first old station wagon ride
and i can say.."mature life is alot harder than teenage life lol... "i think that's why some people are too scare to go out of their confort zone... but the best part of being mature is that "you" is your own boss...  i guess this is just a random thought of mine:)

Ps: then finally at the age of 28 i finally could effort to buy my own cheppo ride.. and plan a trip across continents.. i can say hey better late than sorry! at least i did it!!

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...
