New episode

And finally we reached to this stage when the time and plans arent ours anymore, it is involved our little man, our beautiful baby boy who was born 6 weeks ago Zachary Owen Shea! he is beautiful baby in the world others isn't matter mine is the best. He is such a gift! shine sun! everything to us! how life changes in just one day! sleepless night, nappies, baby cry but best of all is the smile that bright our day. Babies are such a torture and why are they so cute? I didn't really understand how it feels like to be a mum until I have my own. It is just different, another whole story! I will not let anyone  harm him not even the wind! I love him so much.
if I didn't have him this time, I would have travelled to Europe, we would have gone to US, I would have busy working, we would have had our own world-dining out, wake up late, shopping, dinner plan, pub (for Shea), etc. But these are nothing compare to what we have! we have a son! a beautiful mix son. He is Australian and American and of course Indonesian.
I envy him! he is born in this beautiful Manly beach! he has the privilege to enjoy our hard work to live in a better life, better country! better future! he is our first Australian generation. Zachary- I like to call him Zaki. He was born just like me and he started to look like himself with his dad's skin. But we will never know he will keep changing until 6 months
I can say life is good, there is a always the right time, place and person. we just need to plan it! our life in Manly goes perfect just like what we planned it. we plan everything. It might not go well but at least we try. we planned this pregnancy thing, we plan our trip, we plan our next trip, we are planners.
It is summer in Sydney, beautiful day. I can see the ocean, blue sea and beautiful sunset from our veranda. This is beautiful place to live and raise kids, we made the right decision to live here. no traffic nor hectic city life. it is just the beach and relaxing northern beaches life. Perfect place to live!
we don't need to fly or drive or get away just to find the beach, no we life near the beach. But we do pay a lot for this kind of living and I'm telling you- it is worthy!
I am stay home mum, I enjoy every minutes! thought my mind start thinking about work! I have school to do and bunch of paper work to fill but Ney! aint no body get time for that:) i'll do it next time when I feel like and why? because I can:)
so nice to see my son every day and watch him growing! baby grows so fast, I don't want to miss the milestone. I get to do this once in a life time I don't want to regret it! this is like vacation... I can always go back to work but I can't turn this time! the enjoyment of motherhood!
I coped very well so far, I have lost pretty much all my baby weight! I have been adjusting very well. It feels like a dream sometimes,,, when I wake up and see little me! when this thing happened? Shut I am a mum!
I managed to fly my mum and sister to Sydney to help me with this new life. My mum has never been anywhere in her life, it is such a big thing for her. she found everything fascinating, she sat hours in our veranda to see the ocean, she asked so many question about everything. She loves to see the birds everywhere flying freely, which isn't happen back home! people caught, sell or eat them, they do everything to survive! Our house is a bit crowded. It used to be no problem to have visitors but now it feels like losing my own time! time goes so quick i need more than 24 hours.
My sister and my mum are such a great help! im keeping my sister with me and send my mum home next month. im giving her a chance to have a better life! yes my sister loves it here! when you comes from nothing and you have the chance to enjoy things you don't want to come back! we might lose our privacy for couple months but once she can stand on her own feet everything will be fine!
It is just a thought:) my mum rocks Zack to sleep while I am enjoying few moment of me time:)
But all good and life is good!

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...

My first 4th of July

It has been a week or so now we r staying at the Beach House in Hull… Summer is real hot like back home weather…   but at least we settle for a while…   same stuffs every day; wake up, have breakfast, beach/bay/ sunset, here n there random things to do, dinner then bed…   ah I feel   like a normal person again after a while..   4 th of July is American Independent Day, I heard about it in my history lesson but now I experienced it! first of July's Weekend, Everyone were here. Karen, Paul and Beando’s/ they came on Friday… the house became crowded but the more the merry… I’m glad I experienced real American family; live and interact with them. I’ve seen different people everyday, Shea keeps introducing me to new friends, cousin, uncles, 2 nd cousin, neighbors, etc…   I don’t even remember their name. the only one I remember is Wendy, nice neighbor who lives across the street. it’s part of experience I guess and this amazing trip.. the further you go t...
