US visit

It always feels good to be back to home sweet home, our visit to US was great, my good friends Claudia and her family came down to Boston to visit us. It was great to see her. she doesn't change or aged at all. we have been friends for 13 years now, how time flies. you feel old when you meet your friends who then have kids and you as well have your own kids, you were wondering where are these little people come from! they can be little but they are so powerful that can control your happiness and takes so much room in your heart. I love my children beyond word. It just felt weird, I have travelled a lot in the past, each time I wake up first thing I wonder was "where am I today"? sometimes it takes awhile to realise that I am a mum.

Like some people said 'don't take thing for granted" I haven't had a peace time in the toilet for 3 years now since Zack was born. even when i do have my time then my mind doesnt and still wonder "what zack is up to now!" I guess you wont stop worrying ever since you decide to become a parent. It's hard job! i only have the tittle of a mum for almost 3 years and i love every minutes of it!.
Anyway, i love US despite of those terrible gun news etc, i still love US and would love to live there one day. Shopping is great! people are less racist, food is excellent, most important thing is the family. I would love my kids to know and have great memories with their grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunties. They would be there if we ever need help! I love Indonesia but for the shake of my children future i decide to live in first world countries either US or Australia.

Zack had such a great time playing with his cousins so did Noah, he was with his grandparent pretty much most of the time. I only fed him and put hin to bed. I had so much time myself I even finished 2 books. i haven't read any books for i can't even remember! Zack turned to be a beach bum, he went to the beach pretty much everyday.
It was hard to say goodbye... some of Kevin Joseph's friends came to visit us either in Boston and LA. we did have a good time in US. this time visit we didn't end up in emergency room like last tine. the flights were easy, both boys were doing so great! Noah was an angel, didn't cry at all but slept through. I managed to do another big shopping for Zack and Noah, they should be good for next 2 years, they both have a whole new outfit to wear! from Carter, Oshkosh, GAP, children place, CK, etc etc. Karen, Shaynan and Jill took me these big outlets called Wrenthum. I love it! they have so many good brands with good price as well. Mr. Shea also took me to the Mall so i could do some more shopping while he was minded Noah, of bless him, Noah wasn't really so found of mall and cried a lot. shopping in US is the best so far as they have these coupon and sale. The more you shop the better deal they offer.

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

Karen, Paul and Beando’s/ they came on Friday… the house became crowded but the more the merry… I’m glad I experienced real American family; live and interact with them. I’ve seen different people everyday, Shea keeps introducing me to new friends, cousin, uncles, 2 nd cousin, neighbors, etc…   I don’t even remember their name. the only one I remember is Wendy, nice neighbor who lives across the street. it’s part of experience I guess and this amazing trip.. the further you go t...
