Off to the City for Drop kick Murphy's

We finally got this small apartment for $1600/month, we just signed the lease for 3 months... not really nice but at least it has kitchen so i can cook my own food as it's very expensive to go out for meal here in Manly. it is located in the heart of Manly, yes as i wrote before, we pay the location and view instead of the place. 2 minutes walks to the beach and bay... Shea promised, we will find a nicer and better apartment after finishing this lease, that's our short goal. nice and decent apartment in Manly overview the beach or bay.we are not moving yet  till Tuesday. we are still living in friends' house.... still haven't unpack our suitcase, still haven't settle, yes it's almost 2 weeks..
Drop kick Murphy, my very first concert i just went too, crazy rock Irish concert, laud, and a bunch of drunk people, i didn't like it at all, at least it's one of the lists Shea promised me. We left manly and went to Sydney city by 30 minutes Ferry, first time i saw the city... i mean really walked around the city... such a big and hectic city just like what i expected... busy streets, high building jam together, shopping malls, restaurant... things are bit cheaper in city than in Manly... at least i know where i'm heading to next time i go back to the city.. "shopping mall" and china town"
we were meeting Matt (Shea's British friend) in town hall. we took a bus back to Matt's apartment in west Sydney (if i'm not mistaken), such a nice 2 bedrooms apartment. around 8pm we left for the concert... it was in new town... nice area with a lot of small shops. Rock band... what else can u expected other than some guys screaming on the stage.. i didn't understand what they were singing... i couldn't take it, after 4 songs i left the room and sat outside.
i waited for 2hours tired and very sleepy.... at the end it was pretty interesting, not because of the concert but bcoz of what happened during the concert... some sh#t happens such as; a lady was screaming and holding her bloody head, apparently she just injured her forehead, a drunk man broke his neck so an ambulance with the medical team came, it looked pretty bad. and another drunk man got kick out of the building by the security because he did such a riot, the waiter screamed at one of this drunk guy i didn't know why.. good thing they didn't kicked him out of the building... so yes it was pretty interesting to see for my "very first concert"
we stayed over at Matt and Rachel's house... so nice to be able to sleep in a nice n comfy bed finally... even just for 2 days. they took us to the yack club for breakfast, Sydney harbour overview these beautiful Sydney Bridge, city and ocean... beautiful sunny day. we walked around the park and harbour and back to the Manly Ferry.. Yes we r back to Manly, the ferry was packed with people from all over.. i heard some speaks different language other than English, yes these people are come from all over the world...
Manly to Sydney; 30 minutes by ferry... very nice ride and beautiful view of Sydney bridge, city, Opera house, ocean, harbour, some yacks, people sailings, blue ocean and of course beautiful white beach... Sydney is the city where you can have it all; harbour, ocean, surf, beach, sailing, city life, shopping, you name it they've got it!.. no wonder why there are so many people want to move to Sydney...yes just SYDNEY!. Im happen to be here... to love it or not to love it, times will answer...

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

My first 4th of July

It has been a week or so now we r staying at the Beach House in Hull… Summer is real hot like back home weather…   but at least we settle for a while…   same stuffs every day; wake up, have breakfast, beach/bay/ sunset, here n there random things to do, dinner then bed…   ah I feel   like a normal person again after a while..   4 th of July is American Independent Day, I heard about it in my history lesson but now I experienced it! first of July's Weekend, Everyone were here. Karen, Paul and Beando’s/ they came on Friday… the house became crowded but the more the merry… I’m glad I experienced real American family; live and interact with them. I’ve seen different people everyday, Shea keeps introducing me to new friends, cousin, uncles, 2 nd cousin, neighbors, etc…   I don’t even remember their name. the only one I remember is Wendy, nice neighbor who lives across the street. it’s part of experience I guess and this amazing trip.. the further you go t...

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...
