I expected
to see many cute clean Panda, but there were only 3 big dirty bored Panda.
Beijing zoo is totally not recommended to see. I went to the zoo with this
Italian guy from the same dorm. He has never been to the zoo in his life, he
was excited to see giraffe as he has never seen one. I said “lame”… so boring, I
walked for more than hour n half nothing much to see other than tiny ducks,
fish, monkeys, lame…. It was time-wasted. I couldn’t stay with him. I decided
to leave and let him go himself. Indonesian zoo is way better. And I have been
to the best zoo in the world, yes San Diego zoo. I have even skipped zoo in Sydney
because I knew nothing compare to San Diego zoo. If Loli and Yogi were here, I would
thanked them.
I have never
been in such a big crowd, I mean everyday crowd other than China. Yes there are
always people everywhere, a lot of people. I thought Jakarta was too crowded
and too many people but Beijing is worse. There are 21 million people just in
Beijing itself. People on the streets people in the subway I mean a lot of them.
Hundreds and hundreds… most of them are young generations. Train is always packed,
it is hard to find your own space other than when you go to Toilet I guess. Everyone
is always in the rush, looks like they want to get to their destination as
soon as possible. You also have to be quick, just like kung fu movie if u don’t
follow their rhythm then you will left behind.
Subway is
the best, cheap and easy way to get around Beijing. You don’t need to ask here
and there, the map is there already. You just have to pay attention to each
stop. Across the zoo, I found local big mall where there is no tourist is seen
other than local people. Perfect place for me to shop, I don’t look like
tourist so I could get the local price. It was so cheap with so much better
quality. I was excited and shopped a lot. Pants, jackets, dresses, undies, scarf,
etc etc…
I took the
same train to hotel for 2 RMB with shopping bags, transfer to line 2 then
stopped at Qianmen station. It was easy and no hassle. A lot of people for sure…
but the train goes fast. Corn, chips and 2 small chicken wings from Mc D is my
breaky-lunch and dinner menu. sometimes I bought some fruits. Last night I went
to Chinese restaurant (of course every restaurants are Chinese) I had veggies and tofu with plain
rice. I thought it was going to be a small dish but it turned to be a family size. If Shea were here he would have to finish it. I wish I knew someone on
the street I would asked him/her to have dinner with me. It was huge meal I couldn’t
finish myself and it was delis.
Bungkusssssss....... bawa pulang !
ReplyDeleteI think that what you posted was actually very reasonable.
ReplyDeleteBut, what about this? suppose you were to create a awesome headline?
I am not saying your information is not solid.
, however what if you added a title to maybe grab a person's attention? I mean "Beijing zoo and local shopping mall" is a little vanilla. You ought to glance at Yahoo's
home page and note how they create post titles to
grab people to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about
what you've got to say. In my opinion, it might bring your website a little bit more interesting.
