Travel days suck! but Welcome California!

Experimenting super spicy chick wings before travel day isn’t a good idea. i have exploded the airport toilet in Texas ooppssJ, it wasn’t fun at all… Shea was laughing at me. I ate chick wings Hiitt brought me for breakfast, best and most spicy ever. Last dinner with my new family at El-Sarape, Karen favorite restaurant…it was delicious and fun! We left the beach house around 9pm..  I woke up around 7.30am had shower n ready to go, but Shea was such a pain in the ass… he hadn’t packed, his stuffs were all over. Worse of it; he was still hang over. Knuckle head; he stayed up late til 3.30 in the morning drinking! He finally woke up around 8.15ish and panicky to see his stuffs weren’t packed yet.  We just threw it all in and go, I was just smiling!!! “life to learn baby!”

San Diego Airport
Everyone was in the porch including baby Nat and Conner… they were ready to say bye. It was sad! I hate to leave. I love them. Mr and Mrs Shea drove us to Logan airport, no traffic. our bags were too heavy, good thing Mr. and Mrs Shea were still there, we took some of stuffs out of suitcases and left it. it was suck. We ended up paying  $50 for 2 suitcases. Shea has another beer in the airport. Off we go! 4hours flights, our seat was in the way back… 2nd row from the back. Shea sat in the last row, since it was empty he slept a whole flight, so did i. the flight was smooth but half an hour before landed was horrible turbulence, it went up n down I felt like riding a roller-coaster, it was pretty scary… no explanation from the pilot the whys whatsoever etc..
Dallas airport is huge, everyone speaks Spanish, we sat in taco bell for lunch and this cleaning lady didn’t even speak English. Shea asked the time and she looked at me… she might think I’m one of them.  I didn’t hear Strong Boston accent… right we r in Texas.. we had 5 bags with no airport trolley so we had to walk all the way from gate C15 to gate D20 carrying all those bags. 2 hours transit then 2 and half hours flight to San Diego. Out seats were in the last row near the engine. smooth flight… we landed arnd 6.30ish. I’m excited to see palm trees beautiful. Yogi picked us, Thai food for dinner… another spicy food n delicious. Yes we r in San Diego baby!!! Welcome to the West Coast Diah” Said Yogi n SheaJ

You won’t miss cookies if u never have one but once you have one and u like it im sure you want more! I have been to only 3 great countries where people wish to stay and immigrant; Canada, US and Australia. I compare a lot about each and I conclude or in my personal opinion US is my choice. It is not because the super power country, police of the world etc, but I see it from the “quality of life” that this county offers for me or perhaps my kids in the future. The quality of life, there is so much better… im talking about very simple things I need for daily life such us things that makes easy in the kitchen ; wash disher, nice oven, good clean water, cheap groceries, cheap food / eating out, good shopping,   very good transportation system , quick response of 911 or fire fighter, good sanitation, quick services (bank/post office/stor

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi
