Travel day KL-Bali!!

Are you still wondering how was my KL trip like? J
I started my day very late… I left the hostel at 1pm walked around the hostel, rainy and city day. I just walked and walked and try the street food which is pretty much similar like Jakarta. what I dislike about the street is the Indian, I’m not being racist but those Indian guy on the street like to stare you, looks like they are ready to eat you alive. Make me feel insecure especially If I walk at night. Anyway.. I walked as far as I could, “ let’s get lost”.. Yes when I’m travelling I like to get lost, more things I see, I’m lost already away from home and explore this stranger homeland. I passed China town, Indian town, Pasar Raya, etc. I had my hair wash for 35 Ringgit ($12) and did little bit shopping. I went back to Hotel to have rest then continue walking.

I walked to Kuala Lumpur Tower for 20 minutes at 7ish and already dark. I walked as fast as I could. It was kind of scary to walk to this half empty street. One block street I passed got black out. Made it even scarier, I finally got to the Tower. It has free shuffle bus to the main entrance. 47 Ringgit ($15) to get to the top, it was good view but of course not as good as the empire state building in NY. I’ve seen something way better so this time didn’t really impress me. Stayed for about half an hour, took some picture then left. Long walk I had.
My travel day KL-Jakarta was like any travel day I had, long and suck! Yes i disliked it. Packed and dragged my heavy bags on the street up and down the stair to get to the train etc.etc.. I met an Indonesian who stayed at the same hostel. He is a programmer who works in German, and I met a pilot who works for Indonesian airplane, we chit chat share information, ask question etc. I love meeting new people.
35 ringgits for train express to Airport, it took 30 minutes it was fast BUT it stopped in International airport. Mind was domestic, so I had to take another bus cost 5 Ringgit. It was pretty long. I should have taken the transit train cost 12 Ringgit and it will take me right to the Domestic terminal. At least I know what to do next time. But I don’t think there is next time… i don’t say I dislike KL but if someone gives me free ticket to KL I would say No. I would rather go home to Jambi.
The flight from KL to Bali is almost 3 hours. it was nice and smooth, Air Asia is pretty damn good cheap flight. I arrived in Bali at around 7 and I was so excited. I LOVE bali, it has been 2 years now. I miss it. The smells of the offering in every corner of buildings, streets, etc, people are so nice. Bali is never quiet except after Bali Boom. It is very touristy…. Beautiful beaches, cheap food and hotel, good club, cheap beer, and good wave!
I am BALI for countless time, and my sister flew to Bali too. She has never been to Bali. She is very excited. I will make sure she will have a good time.

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...
