Hull is where i spent my first summer in US

How many friends do you make within a month? or maybe a year?
I have made many friends. In fact I made a family! American friends and Family plus new friends I met in Canada! What a bless!! I feel  so lucky. I made maybe more than 100 friends / acquaintances plus my new lovely, cool n the gank American Family. It is weird went John (shea's Nephew) tried to call me aunty Diah… ahh I prefer Diah! I think I just have to get used to it! Beando’s are the best and I love them since first time I met them. they all r good and well behaved kids. Mr and Mrs. Shea are cool n the gank!!!
I will take a good care of my American family whoever makes it to Australia, they have been so nice to me and I really wish some of them can make it there!..  I have never been to OZ but soon I’ll be there and I’m sure I will like it. It won’t be as much as I love Hull. Nothing compare to this beach house, especially the outside shower n the back yard, looking at the blue sky and the tree!. Sometimes we will never know what we miss till we lose it or far away from it. When I was in Canada for 2 weeks I couldn’t wait to go back to this beach house, I missed it! I thought I loved New York City or beautiful Boston but Nothing compare to the beach house, Hull. Connor just gave me Hulloha t-shirt today and I love it! it has Hull’s map in the back.

I can’t count how many new faces I met along the way… and I’m sure I will see more and more! This is a part of travelling I guess.. more places to see more people to meet! And more things to learn!. Our time in Hull is clicking! I’m going to be so sad to leave this place. I’m going to miss this place, I’m going to miss my Family here, I’m going to miss everyone. this is what I dislike form travelling… to leave!  Boston-California ‘s tickets have booked! 3rd of September we leave.  I’m excited about new places but I also sad to leave this place that I have found of! 2 weeks left. I have to make the most of it!

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

Karen, Paul and Beando’s/ they came on Friday… the house became crowded but the more the merry… I’m glad I experienced real American family; live and interact with them. I’ve seen different people everyday, Shea keeps introducing me to new friends, cousin, uncles, 2 nd cousin, neighbors, etc…   I don’t even remember their name. the only one I remember is Wendy, nice neighbor who lives across the street. it’s part of experience I guess and this amazing trip.. the further you go t...

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...
