Bangkok: Chatuchak weekend Market

Chatuchak weekend market where we were yesterday,  thousand stalls sell everything from food, clothes, furniture, accessories, etc. it calls weekend market bcoz it happens during the weekend, it started from Friday – Sunday night. It’s so easy to get there MRT/the train goes directly to the market Kamphaeng Phet: the name of the train station. We pay 20 baht, apparently the prices of each stops are vary, depends on how far you go unlike Busway in Jakarta, you pay the same both far or near but still very cheap. We went there around 3ish and it was already packed. We got off the station, I spotted this bikini stall where sells very cheap but good bikini. Yes I got 2 new bikinis. I love it!! we walked through the food stalls and clothes, In the corner I saw shorts for 100 baht, yes.. 2 shorts sold!, next food stalls, it spreads all over the place. I had delicious grill squid for $1 and Indian food (chicken masala )
The more we walked the more stalls we saw. Shea got 4 pairs of shorts for $6-8 / each. So cheap. i need sneaker since mine was stolen in Laos, we couldn’t find a good deal. I want a real deal sneaker not a shitty one. So I didn’t buy it there. MBK is where I will buy my sneaker. Thai people started to come and packed the place around 5ish when there wasn’t any sun (just like indo, they dont like the sun:)). the place was so crowded I couldn’t even walk. Crazy! The fact abot the market: the prices were getting lower in the evening. People try to sell their stuffs before it closes till next coming weekend. I got 100baht for short at 4pm but at 6ish they sold it for 50baht..Damn!! but still a good deal. There was $1 stall where everything cost one dollar / 39baht.. so cheap.. I wish I have more time to pick and choose more clothes. Shea was screaming n said “I can’t stand this I cant stand this anymore baby.. next week we’ll come back.. let’s go”.. arrgghh I want to shop more they put all the prices down. Yes next week we will come back, OMG how r we going to pack all these stuffs.
Don’t really see many tourists there. I don’t think they like it especially the heat just like Shea. But hey we r tourist, I’m Asian tourist and I get use to the heat and marketJ. Tourist goes to MBK, the shopping mall. It has been about 10 day (in total) we r in Thailand with 2 stamps of arrival Visa. Thing to notice is: if you come by land they will give u 15 days visa but plane: 30 days visa. I don’t know why… so we have to get in n out of the country in order to get another 15 days Visa coz our flight will be from Bangkok.
Ah Thailand, who doesn’t know!!. A peaceful country with contradiction, Rupert our new friend offered us to see strips show, but Shea said NO. Ping Pong show, cowboy show, or any kind of sex shows are exposed the weird trick of how they do sex on the stage. Yes it is just a SHOW, and of course they are making money of it. if you wonder why there are so many of these?. Oh well simple answer: coz people likes it and they buy the ticket, it makes the business goes well and keeps it going. Those people who sees it, don they realized that they are a part of the show!. Anyway… Thai girls are generally pretty, their face, the jaw, the chick bone. But we Indonesian are pretty as well with curve. Yes Indo girl, we do have the curve -one packet !!!, ops.. sorry hahah just jokingJ. I saw different Thai girls with the French guys next door. There is a group of young French guys who also stay here, yes one nightstand with Thai girl and of course different girl. Oh enough with this talking.
Just like other big city , things happen or shit happens depends on where you r heading to… If you come here to enjoy the beaches then go to south Thailand, if you come here for cheap shopping and the show then stay in the capital city.
#Bankok, to be continue….

You won’t miss cookies if u never have one but once you have one and u like it im sure you want more! I have been to only 3 great countries where people wish to stay and immigrant; Canada, US and Australia. I compare a lot about each and I conclude or in my personal opinion US is my choice. It is not because the super power country, police of the world etc, but I see it from the “quality of life” that this county offers for me or perhaps my kids in the future. The quality of life, there is so much better… im talking about very simple things I need for daily life such us things that makes easy in the kitchen ; wash disher, nice oven, good clean water, cheap groceries, cheap food / eating out, good shopping,   very good transportation system , quick response of 911 or fire fighter, good sanitation, quick services (bank/post office/stor

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi
