Viet-Nam #day4

Day4, was kinda relax. i wake up late.. had nice breakfast friedrice and scrumble eggs for 90.000 dong / $4. then we went to the park.. big park in the central main road. it was so nice... it has stuffs for work out/excercise, long bench and palm/coconut trees.. we also went to BEN THANH Market... it;'s a big market sells everything from clothes, jewerly, food etc. it is similar like Blok M in Jakarta. but the thing impressed me alot was the cobra and scorpion wine. they put the real cobra n animal into a bottle with the wine.. pictures after pictures..

there are some things i noticed from this city: there is red flag with yellow start everywhere, people arent very friendly unlike my people (Indonesia), the sidewalks are bigger than the road itself - it's nice, so we can walk, the steer is like American in the left side, traffic is such a chaos with mopet/motorbikes comes from any directions left and right (so make sure to see both sides if u want to cross the street)...

Another Pho noodle for dinner fo 92.000dong..+ sprong roll at Boston sport bar 80.000dong, delicious.. i think i should stop talking abt how much i spend coz basically things r so cheap here..cheaper that Jakarta.. so dont worry abt $$$:) if you go to local way n eat local food from the treet stall will be so much cheaper..

PS: The price i mention above are for two person (me and Shea), so if u go solo just cut it half:0

My Indo (Jambi) Wedding

Jambi Traditional wedding cloth hand painting One of the happiest days of my life… Yes the wedding went perfect like what I expected. Words can’t explain how I felt but I will try my best. Seems like everyone likes Yusuf Kevin (that’s what they called him). I really wish he could speak Bahasa, blame on me!! I was too lazy to teach him my language. On Saturday a day before the wedding, we visited my aunty, she offered Shea a place to stay but we refused, rejection isn’t polite here they expected you to always say Yes all the time. it is more to the culture thingy. We went back to the village… everyone was waiting and excited to see Bule (white/western) to take some pictures. Derek and Shea were like celebrity of the weekend. The kids followed wherever they went. Shea bought about 30 kids ice cream which cost only $5 they were all happy. Bless him. We stayed for a few hours and learn the Indo sentence for the marriage. Shea has to remember bahasa word “Aku terima nikahi ...

Motherhood

Motherhood! I really enjoy being a mum, perhaps because my kids are young and I am  still in complete control of their life! their well being are depends on me as their mum. They said "Teach them what you wanted to learn when you were a little instead of give them what you wish to have" im not sure what I wanted or wish to learn. Perhaps Piano, I always wish I could be able to play any musical instruments or perhaps I wish I have the "people skill" how to deal with people as I was so shy. Most of those leaders aren't really the smartest but one thing they have in common is their skill of how to convincing or pursuing people! I know for sure the only precious thing I could give my kids is my time! playing and explaining thing. they are little so everything is new and there is always new exciting thing for them to know. like last week I told Zack we are going to have a walk to the hill next to little manly beach where there are little bunnies because...

My first 4th of July

It has been a week or so now we r staying at the Beach House in Hull… Summer is real hot like back home weather…   but at least we settle for a while…   same stuffs every day; wake up, have breakfast, beach/bay/ sunset, here n there random things to do, dinner then bed…   ah I feel   like a normal person again after a while..   4 th of July is American Independent Day, I heard about it in my history lesson but now I experienced it! first of July's Weekend, Everyone were here. Karen, Paul and Beando’s/ they came on Friday… the house became crowded but the more the merry… I’m glad I experienced real American family; live and interact with them. I’ve seen different people everyday, Shea keeps introducing me to new friends, cousin, uncles, 2 nd cousin, neighbors, etc…   I don’t even remember their name. the only one I remember is Wendy, nice neighbor who lives across the street. it’s part of experience I guess and this amazing trip.. the further you go t...
